A: Australia- Blink-182 bring their 20th anniversary tour to a close here in July.

B: Big reunion- ITV2 aired the TV show which saw all the bands we would rather forget about, reuniting.

C: Chi Cheng, bassist of Deftones dies after being in a coma for four years.

D: Daft Punk released their album ‘Random Access Memories’.

E: Eminem released his latest album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ and headlined Reading and Leeds Festival.

F: Fall Out Boy return after a three year hiatus, with new album ‘Save Rock and Roll’ as well as a headline spot at Reading and Leeds Festival.

G: Glastonbury returns after a year away with headliners the Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Mumford and Sons.

H: (Jeff) Hanneman, Slayer guitarist dies of liver failure in May.

I: Ian Watkins, frontman of band Lostprophets, pleads guilty to child sex offences.

J: Justin Bieber turns up two hours late to his gig at London’s O2 Arena.

K: Kristin Ogata gets married to The Gossip singer, Beth Ditto on the island of Maui in June.

L: ‘Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble’ by PJ and Duncan aka Ant and Dec, re-enters the UK charts after a one-off performance on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

M: McBusted (McFly + Busted – Charlie Simpson= McBusted), announce their tour and perform on Children In Need.

N: *NSYNC reunite to perform at the MTV VMA’s.

O: One Direction’s Zayn Malik gets engaged to Perrie Edwards of Little Mix.

P: ‘Prism’ is the latest album to be released by Katy Perry.

Q: Queens of the Stone Age’s appearance at the iTunes festival is scheduled to be shown as part of Channel 4’s winter music season.

R: Robin Thicke releases ‘Blurred Lines’ which sparks debate over whether the song encourages rape.

S: Steve Jocz, drummer of Sum41 leaves the band. Raise your hand if you knew Sum41 were still around…

T: (Justin) Timberlake returns to the music scene and releases ‘The 20/20 Experience’, his first album in nine years, after taking time out to work on his acting career.

U: ‘Up in the Air’, Thirty Seconds to Mars’ track is launched into space to mark its release.

V: Velvet Underground former frontman, Lou Reed dies in October, following complications from a liver transplant.

W: ‘Wrecking Ball’ confirms the death of Hannah Montana Miley Cyrus.

X: X= no more My Chemical Romance, Jonas Brothers etc.

Y: Ylvis release a song that no one wants to hear ever again.

Z: Zero- The number of albums Taylor swift has released in 2013 based on break-ups with Harry Styles/ John Mayer/ Joe Jonas (delete as appropriate).
